Not the worst place I have stayed by far. The new owners have started making renovations and have changed pest control companies. It takes time to correct the issues. At least it is not like the Budget, the first night I stayed there I had to switch rooms 3 times. Some of the rooms the showers didn't work: all of the rooms there had been no housekeeping done. More than likely most of the negative comments were made before they remodeled. After they remodeled the rooms look perfect. The only downfall was that I kept smelling pot wafting through the parking lot. And there was seem to always be someone outside talking. But for most part the rooms are quiet and clean. Think the worst thing I found was somebody's underwear hanging on the shower from the trip before me. Is a black bra or panties hanging from a shower curtain so it had been hid while the little short woman that cleaned it cleaned it.. so that was not removed right away. On top of that I think I checked in once and there was something else that somebody else left behind not to mention one's finding about a 2/3 of a bottle of vodka in the refrigerator along with a half-eatin meal. The beds are extremely soft the bedding was gorgeous the first time I went in and they had all white bedding I love it.
Our room was clean. Management helped us greatly. We drove from MS to NY and picked up our son. Our uncle died and we left for Kansas. Our truck broke down at Love's truck stop. Tim made sure we had a place to get the truck to and be safe. Very kind and caring staff. Had the truck towed here and my husband was able to get a new part and fix our truck! Hospitality an A+++++
This man has always been great to my boyfriend and I. We have a microwave a full blown fridge. The rooms are always nice and clean and I praise the cleaners. I get asked once a day for towels even if I don't need them she is still very polite to me. I look at reviews and I realized this place doesn't add up to a lot of nasty things people say. I have never once seen a bug or have I ever stayed in a dirty room. Thank you to this man who runs this place. I appreciate everything he has to offer
The room was clean and the shower had hot water. I enjoyed my stay and plan to stay again. I did have m6 second reservations made but my job changed thatunexpectedly and I wasn't able to properly cancel. The young lady at the desk was helpful, sweet and courteous. Hope they allow me to stay again after my mis-step with not properly cancelling my last reservation.
It's not a bad place to get a good night sleep. The price is right, that is about it, it's not a new place so it's got duck tape on the floor to keep the tiles in place. The cleaning is not so good but the bed sheets were clean.
If you are looking for 5 star service keep looking. If you want a clean room and low drama at a reasonable rate this is your place. My only complaint was when we checked in we had to buzz someone to check us in at 6:30pm and had to buzz someone to check us out at 10:00am peak hours at a motel. A minor complaint would definitely come back
Nice staff and affordable. The rooms are comfortable and have hd tvs, fridge and microwave. If you’re in Plainfield and need a quick place to stay or get away, I recommend Ashley motel.
